Sean Murphy is the Senior Data Scientist at Vibrant Emotional Health, the organization behind the US National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, New York City’s NYC Well program, and various other emotional health programs and services. He has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University, teaches statistics and research methods at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and conducts psychotherapy process research, using NLP methods, with a group of collaborators at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. Prior to working at Vibrant Emotional Health he founded Small Data Consulting, a small analytics consulting firm, and worked in a variety of clinical, technology, and research roles.
